The beauty of the below email scooped from my inbox is that the criminals are actually TELLING US what banks they're defrauding and what types of accounts--Wells Fargo checkingand savings accounts, Bank of America credit accounts ... Classic phishing and check forwarding scams combine in one mail which happens to be full of nasty iFrames hidden in the HTML code no less.
Hey banking institutions, if I were you, I'd have my ear to the ground for scams like these and send investigators after the sendorss of the e-mails like the one below:
